Setting Up Your POP Email Address in Microsoft Outlook

This tutorial and settings are similar in all versions of Microsoft Outlook.

1. Select file button from top left.

2. Select Add Account.

 

3. On the E-mail Accounts wizard window, select Manual setup,
and then click Next.

 

4. For your server type, select POP or IMAP,
and then click Next.

 

5. On the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) window, enter your information
that Kwiktech gave you as follows:

  • Your Name
  • Your first and last name.
  • E-mail Address
  • Your email address.
  • User Name
  • Your email address, again.
  • Password
  • Your email account password.
  • Incoming mail server (POP3)
  • mail.yourdomain.ca
  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
  • mail.yourdomain.ca

Click More Settings.

 

6. On the Internet E-mail Settings window, go to the
Outgoing Server tab.

Change settings to look like image.

7. Go to the Advanced tab, and then Change settings to
look like image.

Click OK.

8. Click Next.

9. Click Finish.
